bibic
Successfully secured £201,000 for bibic including a £93,000 grant from Children in Need to support a bibic therapist salary over 3 years to help children with developmental difficulties, learning disabilities, special educational needs (SEN) and genetic conditions. bibic also help children and young people with autism, brain injury, dyslexia, Down's syndrome and sensory processing difficulties.
This fundraising work was especially significant for me as the father of a child on the autistic spectrum, who has benefited from their expertise and support.

We The Curious
Secured £115,000 (from the National Heritage Lottery Fund and Charles Hayward Foundation) for We The Curious (Science Centre) new exhibition called 'Project What If'. In addition I also won £273,000 in sustainability funding during the COVID 19 pandemic.

Colyton Heritage Centre
Securing £69,000 (from the National Heritage Lottery Fund and The Leche Trust) to fund a professional grade digitiser, touchscreen interactive and visitor centre interpretation for a collaborative project involving Colyton Heritage Centre the Chamber of the Feoffees.
The focus of the project was to equip the centre with professional equipment so that they could begin to digitalise the historical Chamber of the Feoffees archive dating back to 1546. Once digitised these records will be transcribed and used as the foundation stone of a rolling series of exhibitions. The entire collection will be conserved by being deposited at the Devon records office (after digitisation) and stored in controlled climatic conditions.

Bideford Railway Heritage Centre
Raising over £59,000 from National Heritage Lottery Foundation, Trusthouse Charitable Foundation for the Bideford Railway Heritage Centre. The project, working in collaboration with partners including Devon Wildlife Trust, North Devon Biosphere, Sustrans and Tarka Trail, revitalised a tired railway truck into a vibrant visitor attraction that explains the railway heritage of North Devon and the story of the biodiversity that has reclaimed the old track beds, since closure.

Hope Cove R6 Rotor Bunker
A fascinating and remarkably well preserved grade II listed bunker from the Cold War era. The project is still in development phase but initial support provided includes:
-
Liaising with local authorities and architects
-
Feasibility study including sustainability, access and stakeholders
-
NHLF enquiries
-
Project development and scoping work

National Coast watch Instituation
In just 3 months I raised over £50,000 to support training costs for some 2000 volunteers of the the National Coast watch Institution (NCI), in the operation of VHF channel 65, which they were allocated in 2014. Training was mandatory before being allowed to operate the VHF frequency in connection with their observation work along the UK's coastline.
